2021, a year in review

It’s hard to believe, but 2021 was our busiest year to date amidst all the uncertainty that the pandemic brought to our industry. Although our overseas work was curtailed for another year we found ourselves travelling all across the country, with several visits down to London and the south coast. The year saw us complete our switch to the SONY cameras with the arrival of Sony FX6 to sit alongside its big brother, the Sony FX9 which we’ve been shooting on since late 2019. We finally packed up and said goodbye to the last of our two Canon Cinema cameras to find new homes, they’ve been workhorses but had far too few outings in recent years.

2021 has also given us the pleasure of working with a much wider variety of directors, producers and crew. It’s been a year of hugely varied work and it’s been great to work with so many of our existing clients on new content, including TV adverts,  short narratives and a plethora of social content.

We’ve almost forgotten life without masks, daily lateral flow tests and Covid risk assessments but we’re glad to be going into another busy year with some hugely interesting projects already underway.
