We started work with ShotScope Technologies back in 2015 for the launch of the first edition of their golf tracking wristband and have now produced various TV Commercials for US and UK audiences as well as promotional content for the ShotScope website. The commercials incorporate a variety of live action footage combined with 2D and 3D animation using custom artwork.
We are also the proud owners of our own ShotScope V2 which is frequently used out on the course.
Filming for this project took place in East Lothian during the early winter months and combined aerial and glidecam footage. The first advert we created was a striking, bold advert with a strong emphasis on ease-of-use and the fact that with this wristband, you can turn up and play without your phone.
The initial advert was aired for 12 weeks on Sky Sports 4 in 2017 and we created a subsequent revised version to run during the advert breaks of the US Masters at Augusta in 2019.
Storyboarding for this content involved a collaboration between our team and the team at ShotScope to ensure that we were making something which would both capture the attention of TV audiences and attract new customers to the website, ultimately driving sales.
The ShotScope V2 has recently been stocked on the shelves in American Golf and the company has established itself as one of the leading global companies in golf tracking technology.
